{Week 6} Ministry of Motherhood Book Club: Ch 7 & 8

Let’s begin week 6 in our Ministry of Motherhood book club with Sally Clarkson! This week we will finish reading about the Gift of Inspiration.

I am so excited for you to read chapters 7 & 8 this week because of all the wisdom Sally shares. This week Sally challenges us to point out the evidence of God’s glory to our children to help them develop a better understanding of who God is and how mighty He is….how He is all around us IF we take the time to open our eyes and truly look for Him!

Putting what we’re reading into practice: This week look for opportunities to point out the evidence of God’s power and glory to your children. Examples might include: Rainbows, sunsets…….anything that was made by God’s hands.

Let’s begin week 5 in our Ministry of Motherhood book club with Sally Clarkson! This week we will begin reading about the Gift of Inspiration.

The Gift of Inspiration is personally one of my favorite gifts Sally discusses in this book. I love how Sally continually reminds her children they were created for a purpose. It’s so important for our children to realize they are here on this earth to do something very special for our Lord. Teaching them they each have a “part” to play in God’s epic story not only gives them a purpose for their lives but also a sense of responsibility to make sure they make wise decisions and obey the Lord so that they fulfill their part in God’s story. Teaching our children that God created them with a certain personality, skills and talents to play the role He designed just for them. As Christians, we all have a part to play in this beautiful story that God is writing through the lives of His children. We are each called to different roles, but put together our lives tell a story unlike one we can ever imagine.
