Angela is the wife to her high school sweetheart and mom to her 3 adorable little girls. Some of Angela’s favorite things in life are dancing with her daughters, laughing with her husband and loving her Lord with the amazing life He has given her. You can find Angela at GoodMorningGirls.org where she blogs with her good friend Courtney, from WomenLivingWell, together they encourage women to be in God’s Word on a daily basis through tech accountability groups. Angela’s goal in life is to inspire her children and others to love God greatly with their lives one day at a time.
Courtney blogs at WomenLivingWell.org on the topics of faith, marriage, parenting, and homemaking. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 14 years. She homeschools her son and daughter and is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute.
In November 2009, she was featured on the Rachael Ray show on the topic of marriage. Her passion to see women live well inspired her in 2010 to start a second blog called GoodMorningGirls.org. There women gather together to dig into their Bibles daily through tech accountability groups.
I spent most of my growing-up years in Germany. As a teen, I moved to Africa as a Missionary kid. I attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where I had a lot of fun rooming with my dear friend Courtney. It was at Moody that I met and married my best friend Joe. Together we have 4 children: Katherine (10), Elias (7), Madeline (3) and Kilian (18m.) We live in the western suburbs of Chicago where Joe is a pastor and I homeschool the older two, while trying to keep the younger two from using the toilet as a basketball hoop, digging in the trash for snacks or anything else their creative little minds come up with.
I love to cook and read, I hate exercising and getting up early, and I long for the day when all the rooms of my house are cleaned up at the same time. I probably spend too much time reading blogs, catching up with friends and family on Facebook, and pretending I’m creative on Pinterest. In this season of life God is teaching me self-sacrifice, discipline, the need for more organizational skills and how to apply the gospel to everyday situations and conversations.
Whitney has made a home with her husband Tyler since 1997, where there’s never a dull moment raising three active boys and a spunky, hilarious little girl. You can often find her writing about the real, messy life that happens while raising four kids (with lots of love and laughter mixed in!), intertwining how God faithfully reveals Himself and gives much grace along the way. Whitney gets fired up about women’s ministry, enjoys creating (and eating!) meals with her foodie husband, longs to passionately love God and love people well, and prays that by God’s grace, her children grow up to do the same. When she’s not writing at Good Morning Girls, you might find her sharing her heart on her personal blog: Raisin4.blogspot.com.
