Last Video Interview with Jennie Allen…It’s the BEST one YET!

Nothing like saving the best for last! I think our 4th video interview with author, Jennie Allen, is by far my favorite. I can’t wait for you to watch it! Because today’s video is a little longer, and because I REALLY want you to watch it, I’m keeping today’s blog post short.

Interview with Jennie Allen #4
Question: Does our “Anything” have to be something big?

(Can’t see today’s video? Click here!)

“So do your everyday and your ordinary. Godliness is found and formed in those places. No man or women greatly used by God has escaped them. Great men and women of God have transformed the mundane, turning neighborhoods into mission fields, parenting into launching the next generation of God’s voices, legal work into loving those most hurting, waiting tables into serving and loving in such a way that people see our God.”- Jennie Allen, page 165

See that’s the thing about our “Anything” prayers…the size of the “Anything” doesn’t matter. It’s the heart of worship, the heart of obedience, the heart of love behind the prayer that truly matters.

  1. Kate Wilson says:

Thank you for this video, Jennie and all you ladies! I’ve been in the Word every day because of GMG, and God has worked through Jennie’s book to open my heart to a lot that I’d previously not given up to Him. Thanks for all your hard work and prayers!

  2. Good video.
After praying I had a random chance meeting with my daughter after many years, I asked for forgiveness, gave my love, and met my grandson. She told me, “I have a good life and I want you to stay out of it.” Thank you Lord.

  3. Barbara Brown says:

Thank you for this video it has helped me with a decision thru this Bible Study. You know God knows our hearts and what we are ready for and always equips us for whatever He has us to do with our “ANYTHING”. Lord Jesus we love you so much and thank you for this study.

  4. I really enjoyed the question about our husbands not being on board yet. It reminded me to make sure my husband is leading our family, and trusting that God will speak to him in His time!! :)

  5. Each of the video segments were terrific in their own way. I loved the one about how “everyone has dishes at the end of the day”… not to glamorize ministry. And the tidbits about showing honor to our husbands.

You are real & such a neat team of people…. how much we appreciate your time and devotion to all of us. God is really producing fruit this summer. :)

  6. I like what she says that it is a perspective change. That it isn’t about what we do, that this life is short, I could survive if “x”, not because it wouldn’t be difficult, but because we trust in something bigger. He is better than all of it. At the end of the day it is, or should be, the Name of God we are building! We have to put aside our agendas and focus on eternity. We each have to play our parts in the Kingdom and do it WELL and love WELL! Changing diapers may help change the world one day by that little one you are loving at that moment when we do it with Jesus, putting Him first. Daily surrender. This is freedom. Make it matter for the LORD! Stop striving, start serving.
