Today I thought I’d take a few minutes and answer some of the questions I’ve been hearing…….plus I know all our new subscribers are waiting for another blog post from us so they can download our documents today……hehehe….. here you go friends!
1. How do I enroll? Why?
Click here to enroll in our upcoming Living Like Jesus: Luke 1-8 Bible study.
We ask everyone to enroll for each Bible study so we know how many women are participating in our studies, who our audience is and where they are from. This information helps the GMG contributors as they write their blog posts and make their videos, plus it is useful for planning future studies.
2. Explain the difference between subscribing and enrolling.
Subscribing means you are requesting to receive our blog posts in either your inbox as emails from us or through your web readers. Once you are subscribed, the NEXT blog post that goes out will have the downloadable files you will need for the upcoming study.
Enrolling means that you are letting us know you will be participating in our Bible study with us. Think of it as registering for a Bible study……by enrolling you’re giving us a head count of how many women are participating plus when you fill out the form you provide information that we use to help us plan our studies and know who our audience is when we write and record our videos.
3. Do I need to subscribe for each Bible study?
No, once you have subscribed you don’t need to subscribe again.
4. Can you explain the reading plan?
We are changing things up a little this time by having more to read…..yet still focusing on a few verses each day! For this study we will have a passage to read and then 2-3 verses are pulled out for us to SOAP and dig a little deeper just like we have in our previous Bible studies.
Looking at the reading plan for week 1, we see that on Monday we will read Luke 1:1-25, but we will only SOAP in our eBooks verses 1-4. This session we will be reading a little more but SOAPing about the same amount of verses.
5. Where are the links for the Luke downloads?
At the bottom of every GMG email you receive or at the end of your web reader you will see:
Click on the two links that are provided and download the documents.
The links will read: 1. Living Like Jesus eBook 2. Living Like Jesus Luke Reading Plan
6. Where do I find a group?
You have 3 options.
1. You can create your own group with your friends and family.
2. You can find groups and new friends through our message board located here : Message Board.
3. You can find Facebook groups who are accepting new members by clicking here: Facebook groups
7. I want to lead a study…how do I do that?
First create your group, once you have your group together contact Shonda and request to be placed into the GMG Leaders Facebook group. We have a WONDERFUL support group that we encourage all our GMG Leaders to be apart of when leading our online Bible studies. We also have a GMG Leader’s guide and other resources available for you, which you can download once you’ve been placed into the GMG Leaders Facebook group.
You can contact Shonda through Facebook or email.

8. I would like to know how to start a private group on FB with some of the ladies in my church.
Click here for directions on how to create a private Facebook group.
9. How often will I receive a blog post from Good Morning Girls?
Once the session has started, we provide blog posts on Monday-Wednesday and Friday. (Note: During enrollment we try to post more often for those women who have recently subscribed to Good Morning Girls so they can receive their documents.)
Hopefully I’ve answered a few of your questions today……if not, please feel free to ask me some more in the comment section below! I’m here to help!
