Countdown to Luke… GMG love!!

{Breakfast last week with some of my very own Good Morning Girls!}

We start our Luke study in just ONE MORE DAY, and today, I’m taking some time to reflect on how God has used Good Morning Girls in such powerful ways in my own life.  You could say that I’m feeling the GMG love tonight!

What do I personally love most about Good Morning Girls?

  • The simple idea of signing up for a bible study helps me to solidify in my mind that step of commitment that I so desperately need in order to faithfully stay in God’s Word.
  • The online aspect is extremely convenient for me, especially during this busy mom season that I’ve found myself in for a very long time.
  • Walking through life with the encouragement from other sisters in Christ through my own personal GMG group has been an indescribable blessing!
  • And the accountability to be in God’s Word every day?  I’ve never found anything else that’s worked so well for me.
  • Digging into the Bible using the SOAP method uses practical, writing-it-out, verse-by-verse intentionality that has taught me to slow down, and take in all God has for me each day.
  • Keeping to a reading schedule helps me to focus more, stick to a plan, and meditate on scripture in a more applicable way.
  • Above all, through each GMG study, I am drawn closer to my Savior as a result of sweet communion with Him through my quiet times.

What do YOU love most about Good Morning Girls?  We’d love to hear!!

  1. I love that it draws you into a community of fellow believers and makes you accountable to stay in your study and fellowship.

I have seen my group grow from 3 to 12 in 2 days, praising God for sending these sisters to me.

  2. I also love the SOAP Method. It slows me down and I ALWAYS catch something that I never have noticed before when reading the verse. This method has me meditate on scripture and not just read it and forget it.

    I can’t wait to start!!

  3. I like that I can do the study in the comfort of my own home. I have a house full of small children so I am unable to attend a study outside of our home. This will be my 4th GMG study! So excited.

  4. I am in charge of child care for our church during bible studies so I cannot attend with the groups–so I am loving doing this study on my time. Which isn’t always the same since I have 5 kids of my own! I love to SOAP method. I have always struggled with Bible study but I am keeping up pretty well!
I am so thankful that I found you.

  5. I love the sense of sisterhood you develop with other fellow believers. The accountability to make sure to read and study daily. The input from other. And being able to walk away with more knowledge then when you just study alone

  6. I can’t wait me and my girls are excited to dive in again. I love how close we get and connect every day. It truely a blessing, the friendships and closeness that’s bonded during these times. I’m lovin it!!! Thank you for your ministry, such an encouragement and blessing. Thank you for all you do to get us to draw us closer to God!!!!

  7. I cannot get any of the links to the open for the reading schedule or the other resources for the Luke study. Not the ones in my email or the ones on the blog.

  8. Hope Cranford says:

I still haven’t gotten the study guide yet. Can’t wait to get it.

  9. Hannah Hill says:

    Excited to try this!

  10. I can’t open the study guide or reading plan in any of my e-mails at the bottom. Help?

  11. Haven’t received the email for the study guide yet!

  12. Ready to start a new transformation in Christ.

  13. I am new to GMG, as a member AND as a leader! My group exploded and in one short week we have 45 ladies total! We have recently relocated, so having this type of Bible study option is helping me stay connected with old friends. At the same time, though, there are a lot of new faces and I’m excited to dive in!

  14. Laurie Messer says:

I’ve always wanted to know how to study God’s Word so that Truth is revealed to me and the SOAP method I’ve learned with GMG has helped me do that. It has helped me develop discipline for daily time in the Word of God; time that each day I eagerly look forward to because I know He is going to show me something new. GMG has led me to an online group of women who love the Lord as much as I do and want to sit at His feet daily in His Word…for this I am beyond thankful!

    Seeking Him,

  15. Oh that is easy. What I love about GMGS is the girlfriends in Christ I’ve gained. The support, prayers and encouragement. I never imagined we would stick together for this long. Christ has committed us together. Praise God.

  16. I was already subscribed and just “re-subscribed” but still haven’t received the study guide.

  17. Hello,

This is my third study to join in with you and I am unable to find the printable schedule and soap pages etc… Help!

Thanks!! I love doing your studies and I was so blessed when we went through the book of Colossians.

  18. I’m sure there is a btter place to do this but can’t find it. I would like to be connected to a GMG group either just online or if there’s a local one that’s even better. How do I go about getting plugged into a group?

  19. Cathy, Britney, Tanya and Cindy – Hmmm… so sorry your links are not opening properly. Please email Angela at LoveGodGreatly@gmail.com, and she’d be happy to send you the links directly.
