I’m sharing this powerful video with you today because I believe those of us who are in the trenches of raising children need encouragement. We need women to speak words of life into us.
We need to hear we are wonderful mothers….even on the days when we know we’ve made mistakes. We need to hear that what we do inside are homes matters …..especially to God. He sees our long hours. He sees how we kiss booboos, generously give hugs and work on kindness, manners and self-discipline with our children.
He sees our hard work……and He smiles upon us.
Being a mom is not easy, it’s hard work, but every now and then I’ll walk into a room and see a card, a drawing, or something like this…..
And God gently reminds me that what I am doing inside my home matters.
What you, my sweet friend, do inside your home matters too!
You are amazing! God has blessed you with gifts, talents and a purpose that only you can fulfill! Remember that today!

Information about The Dig for Kids
The Dig,is a fun and easy way for YOU to get into the book of Luke 1-8 with your kids this session!!!
The Dig is offering a SPECIAL price to all the women participating in our Good Morning Girls winter Bible study!!!! Now you and your children can learn about the same chapters of the Bible together!
A typical Dig lesson consists of the following four components:
1. The Map: The Map tells you and your child where you’ll be going in each lesson. It is a short summary of the study ahead.
2. The Dig: The Dig is the main passage you will be studying. Following each passage will be several questions designed to help conversation and understanding. They are meant to be a guide. You can use them or tweak them to help you talk with your children.
3. The Treasure: The Treasure is the big idea of each lesson. In a short statement, it is what you want your child to remember from the passage you studied.
4. The Display: When an archaeologist finds a treasure, they will clean it up and put it on display for everyone to see. This is the basic idea of the Display. It is the application of the Treasure you have found!

I have 3 children. My 12 year old attends public school and my 3 year old and 5 month old attend ” homeschool”. A portion of our homeschool is bible study. My 3 year old enjoys this so much. Her biggest enjoyment is “learning and reading the bible like mommy”. She enjoys our time with Jesus TOGETHER. I love it also. This would be a great addition to my GMG study.
My 12 year old enjoys hearing about what we learned each day. As he does his own quiet time, he enjoys hearing the Bible through the eyes(& mouth) of a three year old. Therefore, I know the dig would be an educational addition for him also.

I can’t wait to start the Luke study and have four granddaughters that need to know more about Jesus. One has a Kindle and so do I. I am going to purchase that version of The Dig and would like to have the hard copy for the other girls. I think it is really cool how Dig for Kids is teaming up with Good Morning Girls. What a cool way for moms to integrate Scripture with their kids. I know that when I was teacher, I used to love to incorporate what I was learning in my Bible studies to what I was teaching my students (in a Christian School).

Our church uses The Dig for our Bible Box Quizers. Last year, we studied through Matthew. Really a GREAT product. Even with kids from 2-5th grades, no one was bored, and no one was overly challenged. I highly recommend the study to any Mom!

I really needed this today! I’ve had a ‘no good, horrible, very bad’ morning with my toddler and newborn. We were so late getting out the door that by the time we were on the road to my dr.’s appointment we were going to be 20 minutes late. I called to let them know and they cancelled the appointment. I starting crying right then, while I was still on the phone with the receptionist! Somedays I feel like the work I’m doing and effort I put it just isn’t making a difference. I really needed this encouragement!

Would love to win a copy so I can study with my girls.
I taught Kindergarten in our public school a couple of years ago. Out of about 24 children only two of those where living with their parents. Today’s children are being thrown to whoever will take them. I had an increasingly large number of children who would say I am drawing my mommy a picture she is in jail. This is heartbreaking! I would also add I am from a rural area in Kentucky. This is just not supposed to happen. It makes me realize that being a mother is the most important job/career that God will ever entrust us with. This book sounds like it would be wonderful for some of these aunts, uncles, grandparents,, ect. that are raising children that would be in foster care otherwise.

This looks like just what I need for my children this year!
I don’t know how anyone can ever doubt that God is real and cares intimately for every care and concern in our lives. I’m the mom of 2 wonderful boys who are the joys of my life. They are 17 and 20. My boys are no longer little and though motherhood is not physically exhausting these days, it can be an emotional wrecking ball. Waging a war against this world and all of its ugly influences is a constant and sometimes heartbreaking battle. Yesterday, as I talked to my husband about the wide road one son is on, I felt so alone and defeated – wondering what I could have done differently as a mom. When I opened my email this morning and found this video from Sally I just about laughed out loud! God gave her message to me! Right where I am, using exactly the words and feelings I have been struggling with, He spoke…audibly. How can anyone doubt that He loves us and that He is alive and working for our good. Thank you for daily reminding me, through this blog, that God loves me more than I can ever imagine.
I have been enjoying GMG so much and am looking forward to sharing it with my kids with The Dig!
