The Power of Prayer Rests In the One Who Hears It…

I took this picture the other day from my backyard. I have to admit, it had been one of those days when I was inside all day…..trying to get it all done. Being a Martha. Then I saw this cloud from the corner of my kitchen window. It was almost like God was beckoning me to come outside. To enjoy the beautiful day He had created. To enjoy His presence in the beauty of His creation. To stand in awe, to marvel at His holiness……to just be still for a second and become a Mary.

    I don’t mind answering them! :)

  11. I have done your last 2 studies and have enjoyed them. I tend to struggle with the O and A part of SOAP. In the last study there was a day when you posted what you had written for your SOAP that day – that seemed to help me for several days and then I was struggling again. I was wondering if in future studies that maybe once a week you would post you SOAP entry for the day. It would help me alot. Thanks for all the work you put into these studies.

  12. What a beautiful image! I love taking photos of the sky and clouds. They are a constant reminder to me to look up. Thank you for hosting the hop!

  14. Hi Carol!! Thanks SOOOO much for letting me know what you are needing! I honestly REALLY appreciate that! :) I’d be more than happy to do that for you on our Facebook page!

  15. I love your quotation about prayer. It’s true that sometimes people try to make their prayers long, while others can pray only for a very simple and short words, others pray silently while others want their requests to be in a very loud voice. I was reminded by your blog that the result of our prayer does not depend on how we pray or who lead the prayer…it all depends on what God think is the best! Thank you also for reminding us to become Mary, although most of the time we are like Martha. Thank you and God bless!

  16. This sounds wonderful. Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these.

  17. Way cool! Some extremely valid points! I appreciate you writing this write-up and also the rest
of the website is also really good.
