Wow, you all amazed me last week by setting a new record number of link-ups!!! We had a total of 98!!! I loved visiting your different sites and getting to know some of you! In celebration I’ve decided to showcase one special blog post that has been linked up each month on the last Wednesday of the month, so make sure and come back again and again sharing with the GMG community what you are learning through our Ephesians study!
Today I’d like to share with you Courtney’s Bible Study Methods & Tips video!
(If you can’t see the video, click here.)

Women around the world are IN THE WORD!
Every Wednesday we will have a link-up. If you are a blogger we invite you to link-up any blog posts that you have written about your quiet time that week. We ask that you put our button in the post or on your sidebar so we can find each other. We do not have code for this link up button. Just right click and save as. Then link it to http://www.goodmorninggirls.org

Oops, sorry about the double link..not sure what happened there! Angela, I think its awesome that you’ll be speaking at Sally’s Conference. Wish I could come and listen…I’m sure that all you ladies have lots of wisdom to share.
May God bless this venture for you all and I pray that the hearts you touch will be blessed as well.
So grateful for this study and for the pace. So often when reading the word or doing a study I feel so very ruched. Taking this just a few verses at a time gives me time to focus and truly learn. I’ve enjoyed reading the verse or two before and after to link the knowledge. God has really been working in my prayer life these last few days through the word. I think it is important to pray for those that are our leaders, our fellow believers, and our children. How amazing to pray God’s word for these dear people.
Thank you Courtney for the study tips, they are much appreciated!
And thank you to all who link-up your blog posts! I am not in a study group so it is encouraging to read and hear what other’s are learning and how God is speaking to you through your posts.
This was so encouraging!! Thank you Courtney and Angela!!
I am just loving Ephesians and the support from my group as well as both you and Courtney! I enjoyed watching Courtney’s video above, but just had a quick question if you wouldn’t mind answering. I love the idea of highlighting key words in a book of the Bible while reading it. {like we did with 1 John} I was wondering how to go about figuring out what those words would be before starting to read the book? Is there a way to look it up online? Thank you so much in advance for your help!
I am loving reading through Ephesians as well as the support from my group and you and Courtney as well! I also enjoyed watching Courtney’s video above, but had just a quick question…if you wouldn’t mind answering. I love the idea of underlining key words in a book of the Bible {like we did with 1 John}. I was wondering if there was a way to find out what those words would be before starting to read the book. Is there a website, or certain commentary to use? Thank you so much in advance for your help!
Congratulations on the growth of the link-up! Thanks so much for hosting — you are a blessing!
I loved ALL of her tips!! The colored pencils and the photo album idea is wonderful! I think I may do the album with my boys. Thank you!!
I enjoyed listening to all Courtney’s wonderful study tips but felt quite depressed at the thought of so many Bibles in one household when there are so many Chinese Christians (and no doubt many in other parts of the world too) who are desperate to own just ONE Bible. Sometimes we have opportunities to send our ‘surplus’ Bibles where they are needed or even to donate money to societies which send Bibles. Let us not just count our blessings of having so many Bibles available but have open hearts to sacrifice for others in Christ’s kingdom. Do we really need so many for ourselves?

Amy- Courtney came up with that list for 1 John, let me check with her on that!

If you know of a site that is collecting used bibles to give away….just let me know. I’d be happy to mention it on GMG.
