Week 4 ~ I John 2:12-17

My Good Morning Girls group got together last night at Panera Bread!!!  I love these girls!!! ( you might recognize in the top row –  far right - Janelle – she is a blogger at Comfy In The Kitchen - if you haven’t discovered her yet, check out her awesome recipes and her heart for food ministry).  All of us attend church together, 3 are sisters and the one in the front row center (Kelly) is the one who named “Good Morning Girls” – “Good Morning Girls” –  3 1/2 years ago before it ever was an on-line blog!  She has known me since I was 15.  We were boy crazy together, went on missions trips together, and even curled our hair the same exact way for years! lol! She can give you the full run down on my not so mature moments in life!   But let’s not go there and let’s get into this week’s study! lol!

Can you believe that we are up to Week 4 already? It feels like Fall is flying by! I saw Christmas trees in Sam’s Club this week! So sorry to mention Christmas on a Monday lol!!!

Here are my key word markings for the week:

  1. Thank you so much for doing this study. I am so thankful to the Lord that I found it. I had been having a real dry spell of not even really having a desire for God’s word and rather wanting to watch TV and stuff. But when I found this I knew I had to do it and now I am looking for more ways to be in the Word. You have reignited a passion for the Word in my soul and I am so thankful.

  2. Thanks, Kelly, for naming this group! It has been such a blessing and a renewal of love for God’s Word these past 9 months. I am really enjoying this study and I have a great group of girls. We are Sunshine Good Morning Girls!

As it’s Thanksgiving Day here in New Brunswick, I’d like to say that i am sooo thankful for my Good Morning Girls and our bible studies. They helped me grow in fellowship with Jesus and to know that i have sister’s in Christ who are always there to encourage me in the Word of God is a true blessing from our Lord and Savior :)

  4. I am with Tiffany – my desire for God’s Word has increased over the past 4 weeks due to this study! Thank you for encouraging us to seek God and know Him more.

Time is flying by and I’m having fun! My GMG group is called Busy Mommas GMG – we connect on FB each morning. What a blessing each of those ladies are!

    Have a wonderful week!

  5. Hey,
what kind of word are you supposed to have to be able to open up the link to do the free E-Study Guide? I cant open it :( any suggestions??

  6. Courtney,
Is there any chance you could explain more about your study method? For example, do you make markings as you go along? Or do you read through the verses several times and make different marks as you go?? I’d surely love to learn more about studying this way!

    His,
    Shari

  7. Alexya – I apologize you can’t open it??? I’m not sure? Angela is our tech gal – you can email her at lovegodgreatly@gmail.com if you need assistance.

Shari – I read the passage a few times and look for what I see as the main points or repeated words. God speaks to us all in different ways, so it is possible for our markings to look very different. Just mark the things that speak to you. Hope this helps.

    Much Love,
    Courtney
