Friday Reflections 1 John 2:1-11

Today is FRIDAY and you all know what that means……it’s Reflection Day!

For those of you who got behind this week, today is the day to play catch-up and finish your week out!

For those of you who want to dig a little deeper into God’s Word, make sure and take advantage of the extra resources we provided in Monday’s post.

And for the record I’m just letting you know that my sweet husband was playing a trick on me while I was shooting this video and didn’t realize I was recording it……:) Unfortunately I didn’t have time to redo it so I’m so sorry it ends the way that it does. Gotta love a man who still loves to tease you….even after 12 years of marriage!!!

Don’t forget to do this week’s challenge!!!!

Love God Greatly!

  1. Thanks Angela! I really needed to hear this today!

  2. So great to see your smile again Ang and what a challenge that truly is – but you are right – it’s simply a matter of obedience – if only that was so simple to live out ;)

    Love you,
    Courtney

  3. Enjoying the study. The verses I John 2: 5-6 stuck out to me. I want to love God so much that I do keep His Word because it is important to me. Important to me to please Him. I want to be perfected in HIs love by doing so.

God Bless You all and thanks again for having this study.

  4. So glad to see you back Angela, and yes we must be obedient to God and love our brothers and sister even when they done wrong to us.. Be blessed and thank you enjoy yalls weekend..

  5. This is so timely for me, as I am being called to love someone who hurt me terribly. It’s one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do, but in a moment of crying out I clearly heard, “love… anyway.” Thanks, Angela!

  6. Hi Angela.. so nice to see you again! This is exactly what jumped out at me while reading John. I said to my husband that, we all know that John is considered to be the disciple that Jesus loved and he just seems to emanate that love.. it just comes out in his writing. This is particularly relevant to my season of life right now where God keeps reminding me that my vocation is about love.. giving all in sacrificial love. Its tough sometimes but you are so right.. if we are to be in His light we are to be obedient. Thank you for the wonderful way you put this across.. even in the midst of your husband’s teasing ;-)

God bless you and your family!
