My dear friends we will be reading the last two chapters this week in the Ministry of Motherhood! I can’t believe how FAST this summer book club has gone! I pray you have enjoyed it as much as Courtney and I have! Reading and watching Sally’s videos each week has had a tremendous impact on my parenting and the way I see my role as a mother.
Next week will be a time of reflection over what we have learned through this wonderful book club. Courtney and I will also be sharing our plans for our next GMG session! Can’t wait to tell you all about it!
Below I share a few of my favorite quotes from this week’s reading:
“Most worthwhile endeavors- whether they involve housework and chores, schoolwork, serving outside the home or providing hospitality within it, or training our children to be servants of the Lord- end up taking more time, energy, effort, and character than we ever thought they would.”- Sally Clarkson, pg 197
I know in my personal life I have already found this to be the case.
“In the end, the measure of my success as a mother will not be how well I have taught my kids or cared for them but whether I have been faithful in helping them respond to God’s call on their lives.”- Sally Clarkson, pg 209
“Jesus isn’t limited by the personalities of our children or by our own personalities or by our education or life skills or lack of the same. He is only limited by our trying to do his will our way, in our flesh.”- Sally Clarkson, pg 209

I am very excited for this final week. Last week the video seemed to cut off in the middle of a story and I was hoping to hear the end of it this week.I m wondering if it was supposed to continue, or if the story ended that way? Either way, all is good, and I am thankful to have had the opportunity to share in this book club over the summer. Looking forward to hear about the fall edition!
Hi Lisa- Yes, we LOVE the Warrior Prayers e-book! Brooke did a great job writing it!
Good observation!
So glad to hear you’re looking forward to our fall announcement!!!
Can’t wait either!

Hi Danielle- Yes, last week I had to slip the video clip into two different clips, but I split it right after the story ended. This week Sally’s clip began where last week’s ended so you didn’t miss any of the story.
