God is raising up an army of mothers to train the next generation, but it seems like we are without godly, wise women to guide us along the way. It is such a blessing to have Sally mentor all of us!

I am a late follower of the summer study, but am being greatly blessed by the spitit of love and grace I find here and through Sally. I had followed Sally’s blog just a little and found you all through her I believe. I am trying to catch up on the book and am working through the scriptures each day. I am thinking of doing a study with a group of young moms at our church later this year, and may have to use this book. Many other books I have read that have shaped my parenting have been a great blessing, but none have the spirit of grace like Sally. She is a breath of much needed fresh air! I am a mom of 6 kiddos and love to connect with other like minded women. Thank you, Angela, Courtney, and Sally for your encouragement. May the Lord continue to bless each of you. You know, this study has been such a blessing to me! I was brought up in a heathen household. I have two beautiful girls and this study is giving me the tools to teach them the right way. I now feel like I have a map to the road that is before me.
I just wanted to add that even though we have made mistakes along the way with our girls… God has taken those moments and given us a way. As a family we are watching as each of us are being trained by the King. Even in our mistakes God uses it for our good. It makes for REAL relationships with our girls. They know that we are not perfect, therefore we do not expect perfection from them in every moment. We are so humbled by the fact that it is God, not us. I am also relieved that in my imperfection He is fashioning something wonderful in my girls. I praise Him that it is not all up to me!

I have been so blessed by Sally’s writings – in her books and blog. I don’t have a copy of Our 24 ways but it has been on my list for such a long time! I led an in-person study group of Mission of Motherhood last summer and it was a powerful time of fellowship, confession and heart-sharing for all of us moms. I am so glad to have stumbled upon GMG and now I want to catch up on all of the discussion and reading here! what a great idea!

I love the idea of teaching kids to speak to groups at a young age so that the get used to it ASAP and can have the confidence to speak in front of anyone. With people being more afraid of public speaking than they are of dying, it’s obvious that learning to speak in public needs to be taught differently than it is now.

Our 24 Family Ways sounds like a book that we could use in our home!
I first saw Courtney on the Rachael Ray show. I rarely have time to watch T.V. but for some reason I had this on. When I heard Courtney’s story, I thought “Wow, there are actually women that live that way still.” I could see the happiness that she had. She was glowing and I could see the love that her and her husband shared. Throughout my life, I have seen marriages crumble, families split apart, people who say they believe in God but then live a totally different way. I didn’t have any guidance growing up as to how marriage worked, what it took to raise children in a godly home, and so forth. I became a young mother and wife VERY EARLY. My husband and I are still married 12 years later and now have two children. I have always desired to know God more but never knew how to have that relationship with Him. As I was searching the interenet for resources to help me in my walk, I stumbled upon Courtney again and saw that she and Angela had this ministry- I knew that this was just what I needed. I started late in the summer bookclub so I am alittle behind in my readings but I do the bible study daily. I absolutely love this book. It has provided me with great knowledge of how to guide my children. I can’t tell you what a blessing it is to have this godly wisdom and guidance from these two wonderful ladies and also Mrs. Sally.
I look forward to the next study group that is coming up in the fall because I know that I will be blessed.
