Ministry of Motherhood Documents To Download

I can’t believe we are starting Good Morning Girls this coming MONDAY! For those of you who like to get organized, I’ve provided a few documents which will help you prepare for our upcoming Ministry of Motherhood Book Club! All the documents are saved as PDF files. This past winter session we created 3-ringed binders for the James Study that looked something like this:

Today you have the option of 3 DIFFERENT covers for your binder. Please make sure to download the Week 1 S.O.A.P. Print-Out for your binders as well as the Ministry of Motherhood Reading Plan if you haven’t done so already.

(Note: If you would like to put our book club button on your blog please do so! Simply right-click on the image and choose Save As. Then save the image to your computer. Once the image is saved, upload it to your blog and link it to our site.)

On Monday you will start Week 1 of our Ministry of Motherhood Reading Plan. This coming week we will spend time getting use to using the S.O.A.P. method as well as communicating with our group members. Courtney and I have some fun questions you can ask each other in order to get to know everyone in your group a little better. Then the following Monday, May 23rd we will start reading the introduction of Ministry of Motherhood! We CAN’T WAIT to get started with each of you!

Hope you have fun downloading and preparing your Ministry of Motherhood binders this weekend!

For those of you who do not have a group yet don’t worry there is still time! Go to our Message Board located here on our blog and click “If you do not have a group- form groups here.” There you can find other women who are looking to form a group!

As always, please feel free to contact us on our Good Morning Girls Facebook page or on Twitter if you have any questions!

Love God Greatly!

Stephanie Whelchel - May 13, 2011 - 11:49 am

quick question… Does the week one schedule start for this Monday the 16th or the following Monday the 23rd?? Don’t wanto to get behind :) We are all excited and ready to get started!! <3

Angela - May 13, 2011 - 11:56 am

Hi Stephanie,

We start next week just with the verses using the SOAP method. Then the following week May 23 we start reading Ministry of Motherhood. Courtney and I have found that it’s nice to give the groups a week just to connect and get to know each other before jumping into the session fully. Having a week to work some of the kinks out, still add in new members who are just finding out about GMG, plus giving everyone time to get to know each other seems to help the group bond more. :) Hope that answers your question! :) So happy to have you join us! :)

Stephanie Whelchel - May 13, 2011 - 12:13 pm

I read it as starting this Monday with the scripture and S.O.A.P. menthod but was a littl confused about reading the book starting Monday too or enxt Monday. :p Thanks for clarifying it for me!! This is my second session and I have absolutely enjoyed it!! We have 40 ladies so far, most are returning for the second time, the rest are newbies but all are READY to get started!! Can’t wait until Monday and to see what the Lord has in store for us this session!! Thanks Again !! <3 Stephanie

Stephanie Whelchel - May 13, 2011 - 12:19 pm

and apparently I need to do a spell check or proof read… LOL!! :)

Laura - May 13, 2011 - 2:29 pm

I’m new to this, and a little confused. Is the one verse a day SOAP supposed to be our time in the Word each day? Or do most people read/study more as well?

Angela - May 13, 2011 - 3:22 pm

Hi Laura- You can of course read and study much more! The one verse a day is for you to really dig deeper into God’s Word using the SOAP method. Ideally we’d like for everyone to learn to meditate on God’s Word, thinking about it through out the day, writing the verse on a note card, memorizing it and ultimately applying it to our lives—allowing God’s Word to change us from the inside out! :) If you simply read the one verse and don’t do any of the other things you won’t get as much out of reading God’s Word. :) Does that answer your question? :)

Looking forward to reading with you all. I just found you and have wanted to read some of Sally Clarkson’s books. I have it on my Kindle now and will be building my notebook after I get home from Vacation.

BeccaB - May 15, 2011 - 2:11 pm

Hello! A newbie here! I registered my group “GMG CoMo”. Do I need to ask my girls to register on this site also? I’m guessing ‘yes’ since it’s a good way for everyone to see what other’s are saying? Just wondering about the logistics and everything, so I can pass the info along to my girls (who are also new to GMG!). :)

Dawn @ Guiding Light - May 15, 2011 - 7:26 pm

Hi! We just started a secret FB group – so far there are only 3 of us…but we’ll see where it goes. Regardless, we are excited to join in and get started! Blessings!

Angela - May 15, 2011 - 9:01 pm

Hi BeccaB! Actually you only have to register one time. On our message board, click on the “Roll Call” thread and just say, “Hi I’m BeccaB from…. and we have… number of girls in our group!” That’s it! :) So happy to have you join us Becca!
Hi Dawn!- I think 3 is a GREAT number! You’re able to really get to know everyone and its easy to keep up with! :) Welcome! Courtney and I are so glad you are joining us! :)

Hi Alison,

I just sent you a message to your gmail account. :) Let me know which study you’d like and I’ll send them to you. :)

Audra - May 19, 2011 - 5:40 pm

Is it too late for me to join a group? I tried to get in on one that is meeting on facebook and never could get the link to work for me to join the group. Would love to have someone to do this with.

Thanks!!!

Angela - May 20, 2011 - 12:02 am

I am so looking forward to this! I live in a rural area, with no like minded folks around. So nice to be able to connect through the internet!

jamithy - May 23, 2011 - 7:42 am

Where do we go to find your questions and discussions on Fridays?
Thanks

Ulanda - May 24, 2011 - 12:04 pm

Coming in a bit late, could a person just follow along themselves?
What is a group in terms of this site? How does that work and what do you do as a group?
