I am so excited to introduce to you Jolanthe!!! She has the first Good Morning Girls Group on Blog Frog and 85 ladies joining her for this book club!!!

Jolanthe is a mom of 4 kiddos {currently 10, 8, 6 and 4} ~ and wife to a great man. She homeschools her children and life is never dull {or lacking in excitement}. She blogs at No Ordinary Moments and at Homeschool Creations she shares what they are doing in their homeschool time. Contrary to popular belief, she does NOT have it all together and is thankful that she has a husband who is full of grace and above all a God who is lavish in His grace toward her.
After reading Seasons of Motherhood by Sally Clarkson, she wanted to read more of Clarkson’s books and saw the Ministry of Motherhood book club starting. In an effort to hold herself accountable for reading {and completing} a non-fiction book, she decided to host an online book club via her Blog Frog community and has a wonderful group of 85 girls {and growing} reading along with her right now!
The area of grace is one that I most struggle with. Forget hourly, it seems that I struggle every moment of each day in exhibiting grace toward my children. I KNOW that it is one of the key places in our heart and our family that needs to be addressed.
Last week my husband and I were talking about painting our living room and adding a verse to the wall that runs along the balcony area of our children’s rooms. One that will serve to remind us to continually extend grace to our children.
After reading much of the introduction of Ministry of Motherhood to my husband last week, we came up with another idea that will not only remind us to be full of grace in our family, but also help bring into focus the five areas that are discussed in Ministry of Motherhood.
Want to see?

From the first two chapters of our reading this week, this has been the section that is resonating most in my heart:
“Perfection is not a standard He requires of me as a mother, for His grace extends to me as well as to my children. My heartfelt trust in Him will be the fuel that energizes my days as I see him draw my children through this gift that will serve them their whole lives.”
p. 29, Ministry of Motherhood
I am FAR from perfect, but am encouraged beyond measure that God’s grace has covered and will cover the multitude of my inadequacies as a mother. I pray that above all else my children will see me learning to receive the grace that has been freely given to me and that I will model for them what it means to also extend grace to others ~ starting within my own household.
