(Looking for the GIVEAWAY? It’s right after this post)

If you are a blogger we invite you to blog about what you are learning in your walk with God and then link up below (this includes devotionals you have written).  If you are not a blogger, we invite you to weekly share in the comments section what God is teaching you in his word.

During one of my quite times this week I read these two verses and fell in love!

John 1: 12-13

“Yet to ALL who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.”

I believe God has put a natural desire for all of us girls to want to be princesses. The wonderful news is when we “receive Him” and “believe in His name”, we become true princesses but more important than that…..we become daughters to the KING of Kings!!! Now that is something to think about when you are having one of those “I’m not special days!!!” You are special, you are wanted, you are LOVED…..you are HIS DAUGHTER!

One of the MANY things that I LOVE about God is that He offers this opportunity to everyone! No works are required! Its not based on your pedigree or having a college degree! It’s based on something everyone has…….a personal choice whether or not to believe.

1 John 3:1

“How GREAT is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!”

Here are a few of the “perks” to being God’s princess.

  • We can approach God with confidence (Ephesians 3:12)
  • He is with us always (Matt.28:20)
  • We are forgiven (Ephesians 1:7)
  • We have victory over sin (1 John 3:4-9)
  • We will have eternal glory ( 2 Timothy 2:10)

I listed just a few of the perks to being God’s princess. What would you add to this list?

Love God Greatly!

Awesome… such an encouraging post! God invites his followers to call him Father–previously unheard of! We are his daughters, daughters of the KING of Kings!
