So a few weeks ago I challenged all of you to do something for others and put your faith into action. Last Tuesday I posted a giveaway, the My Faith Box, and encouraged everyone who was interested to post a comment to be entered in the giveaway.
Last night as I was sitting at my computer, praying over who was about to win the giveaway, I felt God urging me to ask my sweet husband if we could purchase two My Faith Boxes for the giveaway instead of just one.
After I had finished praying I said, “Buddy, I have to announce the winner for the My Faith Box giveaway tomorrow, I was wondering, would it be ok to give two Faith Boxes away instead of just one?” My husband looked at me and said, “No I don’t think you should give two………I think we should give one to EVERY mom who entered to win that giveaway!!!” Yes, you just read that correctly! God has blessed my sweet husband with a VERY GIVING heart and as a family, we feel that every child should have a My Faith Box! This is just one way, as a family, we are putting what we believe into action and blessing each of you with your own personal faith box!!!
Why are we doing this?
Because we believe the My Faith Box is such a powerful tool to help parents be intentional with their children in passing down their faith. I personally LOVE how this books creates a history of your child’s faith as you and your child record prayers and intentional goals from year to year. I LOVE how the book also includes areas for strengthening marriages, ideas for family nights as well as ways to celebrate holidays as a family through out the year.
